Quick Tips....
1. If you're getting newspapers every Sunday, get them in sets of 2. IF there is a BOGO deal, you wont miss out on deals because you have an odd number of coupons ....
2. Pick one store to learn then move on to another store...Do not try to tackle mutliple stores at once until you have learned the ropes at each one...
3. You will miss deals, It's impossible to get every single deal that comes along and you will drive yourself crazy if you try to!
4. Stockpile-Even if it's just a few, it's something that you don't have to buy on your next trip and you wont have to pay full price for it when you HAVE to have it!
5. Get your printable coupons as soon as you see them, not when you need them. Some have limited prints so when you actually need it, it may already be out of prints and you'll be out of luck!
6. Don't be brand loyal-be open to trying new products out! If it's free, why would you not want to try it!
7. Utilize Rain checks! Some never expire and you can rack up on free items by saving rain checks(I will post about this later)
8. Don't buy products just because you have coupons...If the item isn't on sale or at it's lowest price then it may not actually be a deal! Coupons are for saving money so don't spend more than you should!
9. Small is SOMETIMES better...If your coupons does NOT exclude trial sizes than always check out the travel/trial section in your stores! Sometimes it is better to get many of the small items than to get the larger items and have to pay for it.
10. Learn your stores coupon policy(and price match policy). You want to be educated when you walk in to each store and confident or else you may get a cashier who may teach you wrong because they don't know the policies either....
